Gibbs Receives ‘A’ Rating from Buckeye Firearms

(Lakeville, Oh) – Republican Bob Gibbs received an ‘A’ rating from the Buckeye Firearms Association in his race to replace Zack Space in the US Congress.  Calling itself a “grassroots political action committee dedicated to defending and advancing the right of Ohio citizens to own and use firearms,” Buckeye Firearms pledges to “work to elect pro-gun candidates”.

“Bob has been a leader on issues important to gun owners,” said Buckeye Firearms Association Chairman Jim Irvine.  “He has a perfect voting record can be counted on to support and defend your 2nd Amendment rights.  We can trust Bob Gibbs to always be a friend to our cause,” he added.

Gibbs said he was pleased and honored to have received the support of his fellow gun owners.  “I’ve always stood up for gun rights, and I’m proud to stand with Buckeye Firearms.”  In addition to the honor from BFA, Gibbs has been previously endorsed while running for the state legislature by the NRA, and he is a life member of that organization.

Gibbs said that in Congress he will continue to support the lawful rights of gun owners and sportsmen, and keep a close eye on the Federal governments repeated attempts to ignore the constitution, and pass misguided gun regulations.  “We need to defend our constitutional principles now more than ever,” Gibbs said.

Gibbs’ conservative campaign for Congress has been endorsed by Ken Blackwell, John Boehner, Bill Batchelder, Josh Mandel, and several other conservative Ohio legislators, and he has the support of the Ohio Republican Party.
