Gibbs Files July Quarterly

 Lakeville, OH- Bob Gibbs, Republican nominee for Congress in Ohio's 18th district, filed his quarterly FEC fundraising report for April 15th through June 30th showing over $260,000 in receipts.  

"We're very glad to see the support from the 18th district, most all of it coming in the month of June after we were clear from the primary election," said Gibbs spokeswoman Emily Pettigrew.  "Raising over $200,000 in the last three weeks of the quarter is a clear message that people are sick and tired of Congressman Space's purely negative campaign based on lies and deception."

The Gibbs campaign also pointed to the difference in where the money is coming from to fund each side of this race.  "If you look at our donors, almost all of them are from the 18th district," said Pettigrew.  "When you look at Congressman Space's donors you will need a much bigger map that includes Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Boston.  Our campaign is funded by the people of the district while Space's campaign is funded by special interests and Nancy Pelosi's biggest supporters."
